A body pillow describes the long pillow format. Dakimakura is the Japanese term commonly used for a long hugging pillow, especially one printed with anime or character artwork.

Classic dakimakura pillowcases start at $9.99. Other formats start at $59.99 for split-leg, $18.99 for square covers, $24.99 for 3D dakimakura, $29.99 for onahole butt pillows, and $49.99 for double-layer designs. Pillow inners, accessories, and keychains are priced separately on their product pages.

Classic dakimakura covers come in seven standard sizes: 45 × 45, 34 × 100, 40 × 120, 50 × 150, 50 × 160, 60 × 170, and 60 × 180 cm. Square, split-leg, and 3D formats list their own size options on each product page.

A classic rectangular dakimakura is the most versatile everyday choice and offers the widest range of sizes and fabrics. Choose a square pillow for sofas or home décor, a split-leg style for a more body-contoured shape, a 3D design for sculpted volume, or a double-layer style for a more dimensional experience. Most formats can be ordered as a cover only or as a complete set with an inner.

Yes. Diipoo pillow covers can be ordered separately. Choose the cover-only option on the relevant product page when it is available.

Yes. In addition to the seven standard sizes, Diipoo can produce custom sizes under 140 × 250 cm. Contact us before ordering so we can confirm the dimensions, artwork layout, and compatibility with your preferred format or pillow inner.

Yes. Diipoo’s visual customizer lets you upload separate Side A and Side B files. You can use two different poses, repeat the same artwork, or choose a single printed side with a solid-color or white reverse.

Yes. Diipoo accepts personal photos, original artwork, original character designs, and AI-assisted artwork, provided you have the right to use the image. Upload the highest-resolution original file you have to the visual customizer.

JPG and PNG are the most common formats. For the best result, aim for artwork close to 300 DPI at final size, keep the intended aspect ratio, and allow approximately 2 cm of bleed around the edges. If you need to send a layered PSD file, contact us before ordering so we can arrange a file check.

A simple way is to preview the artwork at its intended print size in Photoshop. For example, for a 50 × 150 cm pillowcase, you can prepare a 52 × 152 cm canvas to allow approximately 1 cm of bleed on each side, and set the resolution to 300 PPI.

Then go to View → Print Size to get an approximate idea of how large the artwork and details will appear at the final physical size. We also recommend checking the image at 100% zoom, which makes it easier to spot blur, pixelation, jagged edges or AI upscaling artifacts.

Please note that Photoshop cannot perfectly simulate the final printed fabric. Monitor calibration, RGB colors, fabric texture and dye-sublimation printing can all cause slight differences in sharpness and color.

Yes, but for the most reliable printing result, we recommend placing your artwork on the intended background and flattening the final file before uploading. Transparent PNG files can contain hidden RGB data, semi-transparent pixels, masks, or export artifacts that are not visible on screen. During professional printing or RIP processing, these hidden elements may occasionally appear as horizontal lines, dark areas, or uneven background colors.

Whenever possible, export the final artwork as a high-resolution PNG or JPG with a fully opaque background and inspect the file at 100% before uploading. If your design must remain transparent, contact us before ordering and we can help check the file.

Use a high-resolution composition that matches the selected cover template. Keep faces, text, and other important details away from seams, and extend the background into the template’s bleed area so trimming does not leave an unintended white edge.

Printed colors may differ slightly from what you see on a monitor because screens create color with RGB light, while fabric printing reproduces color with physical dyes. Monitor calibration, color profiles, fabric texture, and the dye-sublimation process can all affect the final result.

Highly saturated violet, neon, and blue-purple tones are especially difficult to reproduce exactly. They may print slightly warmer, cooler, darker, or less saturated than they appear on screen.

For the most predictable detail and color, use a high-resolution source and choose 2WAY or New 2WAY.

Diipoo can upscale submitted artwork by up to 16× when appropriate. Upscaling can improve resolution, edges, and some visible details, but it cannot completely recreate information missing from an extremely small, compressed, or heavily blurred source image.

Always upload the largest original file available. If you are unsure, ask us to check it before you order.

Yes. Text, logos, and signatures can be printed as part of your submitted artwork, provided you have the right or permission to reproduce them. Use crisp, high-resolution elements and keep important details away from seams and bleed areas.

Yes. Available layouts include the same artwork on both sides, different front and back artwork, a printed front with a solid-color reverse, and a printed front with a white reverse.

• New 2WAY: a denser, thicker premium option with smoother drape, a skin-friendly feel, and better snag resistance—ideal for collectors.

Diipoo strongly recommends 2WAY or New 2WAY, especially with an inflatable split-leg inner. Their stretch makes the cover much easier to fit around the shaped inner.

Insert and position the inner first, then add air gradually. Avoid fully inflating it before fitting the cover.

Yes. Diipoo offers down-alternative cotton, seven-hole fiber, and PP cotton fills in standard and extra-filled options. For example, 160 × 50 cm options range from approximately 2.3 kg to 4.9 kg, while an extra-filled 180 × 60 cm inner can reach 5.9 kg. If the listed choices do not suit you, contact us before ordering; a custom fill weight may be available for an additional fee.

Production normally takes 2–5 business days after your order and artwork are confirmed. Shipping time is additional and depends on destination, package weight, and shipping method. Orders placed over a weekend may require about one extra day because carriers do not operate on Sundays.

They can. Orders containing pillow inners or multiple products may use a different shipping route because of their physical size and dimensional weight. Packages of approximately 2–7 kg may take around one additional week compared with lightweight parcels, depending on the destination.

Turn the cover inside out and hand wash it gently in cold water when possible. Avoid strong bleach, harsh detergents, and high heat. Open a vacuum-packed pillow inner carefully without using a sharp blade, then leave it to air and gently pat it to restore its loft. Natural latex onahole inners must be hand washed—gently squeeze clean and never machine wash.

Yes. Diipoo ships orders in discreet outer packaging with no custom artwork or descriptive product name visible on the outside.

Because Diipoo products are made to order, personalized items are generally not returnable. Contact customer support if a parcel is lost in transit, arrives damaged, contains the wrong item, or has a manufacturing defect. Eligible cases may receive a free replacement. Please upload artwork, photos, logos, characters, or other content that you own, created yourself, or have permission or a license to use. Personal or non-commercial use does not automatically remove third-party copyright or trademark rights. If you are unsure whether you may reproduce an image, check with the rights holder before submitting your order.

Both original and preexisting artwork may be submitted, provided you have the right or permission to reproduce it. Original characters, commissioned artwork, personal photos, and licensed artwork are all welcome.
