Understanding Scale

In collectible figures, scale indicates the ratio of the figure's size to the character's actual or conceptual size. A "1/x" scale means the figure is 1 unit of size for every X units of the real size. For instance, a 1/1 scale figure would be life-size, and a 1/12 scale figure is twelve times smaller than the character.

1/8 scale is another popular scale for figures based on anime, manga, and game characters, often produced alongside or instead of 1/7 scale figures. For an average human-sized character (e.g., around 160-170 cm tall), a 1/8 scale figure typically stands approximately 18-22 centimeters (approx. 7-8.5 inches) tall, excluding the base.
